About Me
I am Karin. I help people reconnect with their authentic self by Painting Portraits as a Story, create a Biographical Art Book of your Story and The Oil Painting Society.
As an artist, I learned to work with oils from one of the last Mohicans in the academy. I use oils because they give such a beautiful brilliance and depth when used right. I have taught many and have done, and do commissions for many. Oil paints have evolved, and there is much to learn about how to make your work stand out. I am frequently asked to give feedback on paintings in the making. Often I noticed many mistakes when people use oil paint. The way they stretch their canvasses if they do at all, and how they set up their colour palette. But the most important reason to start this membership is because I would like to help you to explore your authentic self by painting with oil to nourish your soul. To go from not very confidence to confidence as artist and as woman/womxn.
